Hi guys. I was verrrrrry bored one day and decided to write an episode of Smallville. I don't think you'd really get it if you don't already know what Smallville is, so excuse the lack of description about the characters. All I can say is that it's about Clark Kent, Superman. I'm not finished, but here it is so far:
Smallville---Season 4
We find Clark Kent cozily asleep in the loft of the Kent Farm barn. He laid on his red couch with a happy countenance, when he was suddenly awoken when Chloe stomped up the barn loft stairs. His whole body flinched and his eyes opened wide when she made her last stomp. It was approximately 5:00 PM on a Friday night and Clark was supposed to be studying for his history exam the next Monday, but had dozed off. Chloe stood with hands folded and had shifted all of her weight to one side of her body. In one hand, she held what looked like one of the Torch’s newest issues.
“I can’t believe you’d do this to me Clark!”
Clark, at hearing this, slowly got up from his position of lying down and sat up.
“What did I do this time?” Clark asked as he rubbed his head and stretched.
“You were supposed to meet me and Lois at the Talon to check out the crime scene at 4:00, but since I see you’ve logged that to the back of your thick skull!”
“Whoa! I completely forgot! Chloe, meet me at the Talon in five minutes!”
“Yeah, okay, but can you make it there that fast?”
Clark was hesitant to answer, but thought of something fast. “I’ll be fine, I just have to gather some materials, and I’ll be there.”
Chloe turned around and left the barn through the immense red wooden doors and into her red Volkswagen.
Oh man, that girl sure can wake you up… Clark thought as he stood up. The day before yesterday, Lois, who was taking refuge in the Talon’s upstairs apartment, was with Lana and they were hanging out, suspecting nothing. Eventually, Lois heard a small noise when she was fixing some coffee for both of them, but when she turned around, Lana was gone. There had been no leads, and Chloe, Lois, and Clark had planned to investigate.
Clark stretched out his arms above him and fixed his wrinkly plaid shirt. He grabbed his denim coat and headed out of the barn. Before reaching the doors, he was stopped by Martha Kent with a smile on her face.
“So Clark, what was Chloe doing here?”
Clark wasn’t sure of what to say; he didn’t want his mom to find out that he’d forgotten about Lana’s investigation, but then it came to him; she still didn’t know.
“Mom, I have to talk to you about something, but not right now, I have to get to the Talon.”
Martha’s eyebrows began to furrow.
“Clark? What’s going-……… on? Clark?”
Clark was already halfway to the Talon before his mother even finished the sentence.
Chloe drove down the road of the small town with a certain way about her. She thought about her former boyfriends out of boredom. She’d never actually had a boyfriend that wasn’t some sort of meteor-freak planning to rule the world, destroy it, or destroy Clark. Ever since the eighth-grade, when Chloe came to Smallville, she’d had a major, incurable passion for Clark. In the past, her natural curiosity had lead to their friendship being ruined. She was confused about why Clark’s parents had had to lie about Clark’s adoption, so she looked into it, and the only adoption made by that certain agency, was Clark Kent.
Chloe became lost in her thoughts when her foot mashed the brakes down when her eyes caught sight of a human being in the middle of the road, standing like he didn’t even know that he was a bout to be hit. Luckily, Chloe had stopped the car at the right time and barely missed the man. He was about six feet tall with short brown hair, approximately twenty years old, Hispanic. Chloe was always very observant and noticed everything about everyone, just in case.
Her facial expressions showed that she was dumb-founded and she slowly got out of the red beetle, but when she looked his way, he was gone. Chloe ran out in front of her car and turned each way to look for the man, but she was unsuccessful and returned to her car, awestruck. She continued down the road when a short blur of red and a slight breeze came her way.
Clark sped through the roads and to the Talon where there was a yellow police line labeled “DO NOT CROSS”. Clark completely disregarded these signs and attempted to get past the plastic barrier. He was stopped when he felt a hand on his shoulder.
“Hey! Smallville! Can’t you read?” Lois pointed at the yellow tape.
“Lois, hi…” Clark was not exactly overexcited to see Lois, because he wanted to check out the scene for himself, that’s why he ran instead of drove his dad’s blue truck.
“Why so late huh?” Lois grabbed Clark’s arm and pulled him away from the crowd as she spoke.
“Uhh, traffic was terrible.”
“In Smallville? Yeah, okay, anyway, where is Chloe?”
“I don’t know, I thought she would be here way before I was.”
Chloe continued on down the road with uneasy eyes. That man was still looming in here memories; she must tell Clark and Lois! On the other hand, knowledge is power, maybe she shouldn’t. Maybe it wasn’t even real; maybe her mind was playing tricks on her.
She parallel-parked next to a nearby store before she reached the Talon and found Lois and Clark across the street. She left her unsure face and found a more Chloe-like expression as she approached the two.
“Hey guys, okay, so my press-pass from the Daily Planet should be enough to get us in.” Chloe reached in her purse and started to fumble with her keys to find her pass.
“Are you sure?” Clark asked.
“Of course.” Chloe held up the card. “Ha! Found it!”
“Let’s hope this works.” Lois mumbled as she grabbed the card from Chloe’s hand and led the trio towards the Talon front door and through the deafening crowd of desperate onlookers. When she reached the door, she used her key to open the door. Two policemen were waiting inside and held up their hands to ward the three off.
“Hate to break it to you, but this territory is off-limits,” the younger one of the two pointed to the door as if to tell them to leave.
“Oh yeah?” Lois cocked her head and held the press-pass up.
“We’d let you in, but that’s not your picture, ‘Chloe’,” the older officer teased Lois.
“Oh, that’s me officer, Lois here is my cousin; heh, she’s a little out-spoken.”
“Excuse me?” Lois turned her head back towards Chloe, when Clark pushed past Lois and entered the coffee shop. He stood in the middle of the room and looked around.
“Lois? Do you remember where she was last?”
“Yeah, she was right there.” Lois pointed at a small living-room type area across from the stairs to Lois’ apartment.
Clark walked into the area with narrowed eyes; if there were any clues here that the police hadn’t found, Clark would definitely find it. He narrowed his eyes even further and saw-through all of his surroundings. He was unavailing for a while, until he looked through a small cabinet low to the floor. He looked through its drawers and found nothing, but when he looked under it, he found a small card. Clark got out of his x-ray trance and moved the cabinet over to the side and picked up the card. Sure enough, it had a LuthorCorp insignia on it.
Lex sat at his laptop reviewing all of his current projects and their status’. He was fully engrossed in his work when he heard Clark burst through his stain-glass doors. Clark was in a rage, and Lex was puzzled as to why.
“Lex! Did you have something to do with this?!”
“Clark, I believe this is usually the part where I say, ‘what are you talking about?’” Lex closed his laptop and lay back on his black leather office chair and folded his fingers together, placing them on his stomach.
“Oh don’t play coy, you know exactly what happened!”
“Honestly Clark, I don’t,” Lex stood up and walked towards the pedestal where he kept his scotch and poured a glass, “I assume you’ll tell me though.”
“Lex, Lana was kidnapped, and all I could find at the scene was this-“ Clark handed out the LuthorCorp card he’d found under the cabinet to Lex.
Lex took a sip of his drink and set it down. He furrowed his eyebrows and grabbed the card from Clark. It said “LuthorCorp---Genetics Team 654-555-7845”. Lex handed the card back to Clark and he put it into his coat pocket.
“Well, our genetics team is down on 19th Street if you want to seek them out. I think it was in an old auction house called ‘Steins’. I haven’t heard much of them lately, except that they were experimenting on something that would ‘change the world for the better’, as they put it.”
“Thanks,” Clark spoke as he exited the mansion of ill-gotten gain that was the Luthor Mansion. Lex returned to his laptop to research the latest updates on LuthorCorp’s genetics team and what was really happening as opposed to what they told him.
Clark sped through the town of Smallville until he came upon 19th Street, as Lex had told him. He knew sometimes Lex could be deceiving, but this wasn’t one of them. There it was, ‘Steins’, right in front of his eyes. It looked more like an abandoned warehouse than a research facility, but he did see smoke coming from it. He walked to it’s side and found the side door. He was about to open it when he heard voices. He used x-ray vision and looked through to see the skeletons of two humans talking. One was obviously angrier than the other, because he was threatening to kill him if he didn’t find someone, and fast. He used his super-hearing to listen in on their conversation.
“Dr.! We need to find that kid! He could be anywhere! His emotions are unstable and he could hurt someone! I can’t believe I turn my back for one day and then you go and let a test subject go!”
“But sir!-“
“No buts! You will find this kid and return him here! UNharmed!”
“Bu---yes sir…”
That was all Clark had to hear. He knew in his gut that this was the kid he had to find, but he didn’t know anything about him. He tried to listen in again, but they were gone, and Clark had little to build off of. He supposed he should go back to the Torch to see if Chloe might have any ideas as to what Clark should do.
