Enterance of the Spenster...

::Moraine galloped into Chesnee beach right behind Tyrex. Her hooves gingerly glided over the terrain of the beach. Her Dappled grey coat was stained with droplets of sweat that were freezing to her coat from the frigid air that this close to the water gave off. She had followed the dark copper stag here as her new home under the tyrant.::

[Chloe]

[glow=red,2,300]Tyrex stopped and looked around at his newly found herdmate and smiled. Looking around for his queen, he trotted over to the willow that eh and his herd normally took shelter under. At finding that Halfmoon wasn't there, he frowned and turned to face Moraine. He sighed and was reluctant to tell her,

"It seems though as my queen, Halfmoon isn't here to greet me. Although I don't expect her to, of course, she is normally here. By the way, this is where the entire herd stays. When the herd grows large enough, we'll move away from this old tree."

He liked explaining things to new herd members. At times it felt as though he were giving tours, but at this time he didn't really care... [/glow]

::Moraine wasn't suprised he had a queen. She could hear the reluctantness in his voice and merely shook her fadding dapple head tossing her silver colored locks a bit. She stood under the willow to rest from traveling the distance.::

[glow=red,2,300]At hearing her mate's voice, Halfmoon trotted out of the forest, where she had been hiding from the heat, her head held high and her auds pricked curiously. At first she didn't notice the new mare, and nuzzled Tyrex. She then turned her dial and spotted the new mare standing beside her mate. Too happy that her mate was back to ask any questions, she cocked her head to one side, and spoke,

"Hello, what's your name?"

This time she didn't add the 'And what're you doin' on this land' as it was obvious that Tyrex had brought her back, since he was standing right beside her. She had never really liked other mares, and voughed that she would atleast try to be nice to this one. She shuffled backwards and stood in the shade beside her mate, still awaiting the other mare's reply. [/glow]

::Moraine looked at Halfmoon with a blank expression in her eyes.::

"I am Moraine, and I suppose you are Halfmoon?"

::Moraine spoke with an air of ice but it was overwhelmed with curiosity. She swished her tail slightly boredly.::

[glow=red,2,300]Tyrex nuzzled his mate comfortingly and smiled at his new fae as well. He was happy that his mate was being polite to the herd members, it always pleased him as such. He started to graze, seeing as he was hungry after all he had done. Looking at Halfmoon for a moment, he turned to the new mare.

"Yes, this is my mate, Halfmoon. I must say you are catching on quite quickly, Moraine. Either way, make yourself at home, we won't be going anywhere any time soon. If you feel so, you may splash in the water."

He snorted at the sound of his own childishness at mentioning playing. He was a dark, but a one of a kind, he guessed. Deciding that he was bored, he marched up to the water and started to stomp around in it, laughing throughout the short time...[/glow]

::Moraine decided she was going to go and graze first and then explore later. She wasn't going to strike up a conversation with Halfmoon because she didn't really truelly know how much Halfmoon would really care to speak to her in the first place.::

::Moriane tossed her slender dappled head and decided she was going to go explore the terrian. She didn't want to be stuck under this one tree... She took off at a canter toward the beach. She realized they were up higher then the beach and she decided to slide/step down the side of the enbankment. She finally made it to the beach. Her dappled body had been covered in dirt and such from coming down her but that didn't bother her. She trotted across the beach and stopped at the water. She then racered the shore line watching as the waves would crash into the shore and herself. He dark grey tail flowed behind her like a fading banner.::

[glow=red,2,300]Tyrex trotted up to her with a wicked smile and saw her gazing out at the ocean. He stopped beside her, looking out at the vast blueness of the water before him. He looked at Moraine and sighed, and turned back to fae the ocean. He watched the foamy waves arrive on the shore before he said,

"It is beautiful, isn't it? I mean, as light as it sounds, it's a beautiful place. I'm glad I chose to settle here."

Tyrex smiled back at Moraine before deciding that he would kick at the water. He loved the clearness and the blue of the water, and loved to splash around in it. He kicked the water again and splashed into it, sending water flying every which way.[/glow]
