[glow=red,2,300]Halfmoon looked around the valley, her delicate orbs shifting. The mountains around them seemed to shield them from the eyes of brutes, the twisted roots seemed to block them from even setting foot in the valley. Her maw curled up in a slight smile. This place of beauty was her new home. She turned to San Haruba. "Thank you for bringing me here, it's beautiful." She turned back to the valley and nibbled slightly on a silky flower. She chewed it thoughtfully, never tasting a flora such as this before. She whinnyed in delite at the sweet taste on her tongue.
She continued to examine every inch of the place she now called home. The sky, clouded over the mountains, seemed to open up around the bright valley. Halfmoon stood there for a moment, soaking up the warmth beating down from the sun. She tasted the lush green stalks and fallen leaves from the ancient trees around them. This place is paradise! she thought in happiness. She glanced back at Loner's Peak, which now towered above them, high on a mountaintop.
"I love this place" she murmered. It's quiet serenity seemed to calm the raging despair that had glowed inside her. She could feel the spark of spirit coming back to her. Maybe she wasn't a rogue, maybe she really did belong as a Light. Gratefully, she thought of how she would be safe from tyrants like Filth and even Tyrex. All thoughts of even joining a dark herd seemed to evaporate from her mind. "It reminds of this place I once went to on my journeys. It was like heaven" she said. She could clearly remember that place she had visited, with it's lush green stalks and beautiful flora. The wind had never gone over a slight breeze and it always seemed to be sunny.
Her orbs swept around the valley again and she whinnyed shrilly. To her this place wasn't Cresent Valley anymore. Home The word echoed through her head a million times as she tried to get used to the idea. I have found home...[/glow]

San led the new one to the land of paradise. She slowed, and watched the femme explore the lands so thoroughly. Auds kept attentive as she heard the new one speak, and taste the flora, and revel in the brilliance and beauty of this magical land. San strode forward, her too sending orbs skyward, tracing the paths of the clouds, the grass ruffled lightly beneath the small wind that had begun to blow, keeping the temperature very comfortable.
San suspected that Halfmoon was like her in some respects. San had never known what a real home was till she had come here. San had never appreciated life till her talons struck this scared ground. San had always felt out of place, and unwanted, over shinned, and under appreciated. That had all ended. San hopes for this magical realm was to make it a haven for all those who felt the same way. San sighed, admiring the beauty a few seconds more. Then thoughts of the past flashed through her troubled mind, and she lost herself for a second. She regained conscience on earth, then spoke,
" Your welcome. You would have ended up here sooner or later, I'm sure. Yes, this place is a haven, and heaven. I'm glad you've decided to join me.

[glow=red,2,300]Halfmoon's orbs eyed the land around her again. What now?she wondered. She had now fulfilled her lifes dream, to join a herd and be happy. But what lay ahead in the future. Her jet black coat reflected off the sunlight, creating a glint in her hide. She turned to San Haruba "I love this place, but, well, I don't know what I should do next. My life seems awfully calm now, since I've been traveling for almost my whole life."She reached into the depths of her mind, wondering. Her future had always been a mystery, but at no time had it been as mysterious as this. Should she search for a mate, or stay here for all her life, far away from the brutes many other mares loved?
Halfmoon's hoof skimmed the ground and she tossed her slender head. San Haruba looked at her curiously. She sighed. This land really was beautiful, of course, but she now wondered if her destiny lay outside the secluded mountain walls of this valley. She wondered if she belonged where the brutes and tyrants roamed. She shook her head, throwing the thought from it. I am a rogue, Filth would surely claim me if I went astryBut her heart still seemed half-empty and she knew she was missing something in life. In almost a whisper, she spoke "I-I do not know if I belong here either. There is still something missing, and whatever that is, it must be important..."She lifted her thick neck and orbs to the clear blue sky, pondering the thoughts gathering in her head.
She knew she could not contain these thoughts anymore. In an effort to relax, she started to nibble on the lush green stalks and beautiful flora. But the thoughts of never fulfilling whatever kept her heart empty haunted her mind and she quickly bored of grazing. She lifted her head again and shifted her weight, her glossy black coat rustling over her strong, bunched up muscles. What is wrong with me? I still feel as if I don't belong...[/glow]

Pure chocolate orbs surveyed the femme's every move. San's orbs did a rare thing, and held sympathy for once. They traced the vix's actions, and analyzed them each instantly. San too held the feeling of not knowing what to do next. Auds relaxed and muscles softened as San relaxed a bit more. Towers led her to a gentle stream and she took a small sip, lowering her boa, letting the crisp clear water caress her sore muzzle. Her head came back up when her company began to speak. San listened intently, but she knew there was more going on behind the text.
San knew all to well the traveling feeling. She had felt from the very beginning that this one had not had an easy life. That was perhaps one of the reasons San asked for the ivory czaress to join her at the Valley. San contemplated briefly what to do next. I must keep an eye out for Knight, but other than that.....I shall build the refuge more, but.........is there a war 'pon the horizon we need to ready for...? Buzzed inside her head as she waited for the femmora to finish her speech, and when she did San offered her words of wisdom, for what they were worth. She spoke in a calm gentling tone, noticing the fae's stiffness. She said,
I too am clueless as to what the future holds. You don't belong here because you feel you don't. You have every reason as the next equine to belong here, or anywhere for that matter. But something in your past has taught you differently. As for the thing, I suggest you figure it out. I will not be hurt if you leave. But know this, you always have a spot here. And if you ever find yourself in a terrible situation, call for me and I shall come. Hopefully, I can provide some help. So search your heart for what is missing, then find it. Once you do, I'm sure you'll find that you fit in.

[glow=red,2,300]Halfmoon looked to the other minx and sighed. "No, I shall not leave you, you must know that. These walls protect me from the likes of Filth."Though she spoke those words with her maw, she didn't know if they came from her heart. This place was a haven, no doubt, but she knew she still needed more in life. She had a blank look in her eyes as she gazed into space, wondering. She knew not if she should be true to her words, or to her heart, which she knew belonged outside this valley. She walked silently to the pond and sipped the cool water, letting it's sweet taste wash over her.
If only she had time to think. She longed for a brute of her own, to love her, but she also knew that this valley did not allow them. Maybe she did belong in the herd of the tyrant by the name of Tyrex. She turned back to the minx. "I do not belong here."she said with a sigh. She then galloped to the trail, nearly crying. The reality of those words hit her with sheer force....she could never take them back. What had she done?[/glow]

Orbs filled with a bit of sadness as the mare spoke her words. Even before she opened her maw, San knew she had made up her mind. She will leave me. Just like all the rest. San sighed deeply, knowing what would come next. San was perplexed at why she felt she needed a brute to make her whole, but if that was what this bruja felt, then so be it. San whinnied as the femmora fled the haven auds sure of what they heard, but not adverse to it. San spoke as the fae escaped from the comfort of the valley. She called out,
You will always belong here, and never forget it.
San decided she would keep an ear and an eye out for this one, make sure she found her place safely in the world, and when she was supposed to return, she did. San sighed a final, heavy one as the small blot finally vanished on the horizon. After a moment of contemplation, San lowered her boa and maw, and drank deep from the clear cool stream, and ate her fill of the sweet grass.

On top of a hill stands a powerful tan stallion named Mist. Mist rears gently and smells the ground sensing other horses are near. He trots around the valley in plain veiw of San and Enchanted. He grazes on some thick lucious green grass and wanders over to a river to get a sip of water. He then jumps in the water and lets the current take him, it was heading towards San and Enchanted.
