[glow=red,2,300]Halfmoon stood on the peak, her long mane and tail flowing in the wind. Her terrible origins tugged at her mind and she wondered if she would ever be accepted into a herd. She raised her head Maybe this is where I belong, in the world of rogues. In the place my parents abandoned me.[/glow] She sighed. She would never find a home. Maybe she should stay here. This was where her ancestors had lived. Their hoofprints were imprinted in the dirt of this rugged peak. She found a small, tight cave and layed down. She surprisingly fell asleep quickly, in the rough rock of the cave. Her last thoughts before she fell asleep were This is where I belong, in the footstools of my long lost ancestors. This is where I belong...

[glow=red,2,300]Tyrex scanned the area for any signs of life. The lonliness in his heart had drove him to this particular spot, where rogues roamed and darkness hovered. He spotted a mare over the way and trotted up to her, his head high and his body well structured to impress her. His muscles flexing under his pelt, Tyrex moved to the mare with great pride. "Me, love, what may you be doing on such a lonely peak such as this? You belong in a herd, and to be happy. Why is a beauty such as yourself doing in such a terrible place, eh? I be Tyrex, tyrant of Chesnee Beach, and I be glad to meet you."[/glow]

Talons reached, pulled, and released the earth beneath the might femme. As San Haruba roared across the peak, she kept her orbs on careful alert for another vix that she could bring back to the valley. San was not one for talk, but she had begun to feel a bit lonely all by herself on the valley. The sky began to darken above her, the golden sun fled behind the clouds, a venomous grey overtook it. Her pelt no longer perspired from the heat, but shivered from the change. San was one to love rain, but this was not normal, she knew. She would leave soon.
Before she did though, San's chocolate spheres caught the image of another fae. Sinew bunched as San wheeled in the almost opposite direction and headed to wards the vixen. By the time the compact flame hued czaress had made it to the other, a worthless brute had joined her. San snorted with disgust. She had no appreciation, nor tolerance of their kind. She listened to his words, classic and true to the titans. She then took her turn to speak to the vixen, and said in a softer tone than she normally used,
"Or, you may choose a different route, one with me, free from the tyranny of all brutes. IF you wish, you can accompany me to the Valley, where we can live in peace, free from them.

[glow=red,2,300]Halfmoon looked up at the other minx, her eyes filled with despair. She knew the Valley was a place of light and the Beach was a place of Dark. She was just a lonely rogue. "I do not belong in your lands." she said, sadness crushing the tiny bit of spirit she had left in her voice. "No herd deserves a rogue like me..." she trailed off and shuddered, the cold rain pelting her hide. The flash of lightning from the dark clouds above light up her jet black coat. No, she knew she belonged nowhere but in the place of her ancestors. They all had been great rogues. She should be one too.
Halfmoon stared silently up at the skies, which were throwing raindrops in her delicate orbs. She blinked twice then looked back to the minx, considering a thought. Maybe I should go with this minx, I shall be free from tyrants and brutes such as Filth. She looked at the skies again, considering. Maybe she didn't belong on this barren peak of lonliness.
She then stared the minx in the eye, telling her with her fixed gaze, that the words released from her maw, were words that she meant. "I shall come with you." Without a spoken word to the tyrant behind her, she got up and looked past the minx to the valley below them.
OOC:Should I post in the Valley first or you?[/glow]

[glow=red,2,300]Tyrex watched silently as te mare walked with the minx with anger. His bubbling anger towards the minx burst as he spun around. How dare he accuse him of being like Filth. Filth may be a great tyrant, but he was scoundrel, a brute! Why should this new stallion believe Tyrex to be like Filth? So many angry questions spun in his mind. His heart was broken. This mare had almost been in his grasp. He knew nothing of her, and she knew nothing of him, yet she chose the minx instead. Heartbroken by this terrible thought, Tyrex sat, his head hung low and his heart beating in his chest. He would never be a great ruler, and he looked up at the skies.
"Will I ever have a herd, dear grandfather? Shall I ever be accepted?" he whispered to the skies in despair.
As darkness fell, Tyrex watched as the mare went off with the minx. He vowed to never let that minx steal one of his mares again.[/glow]
