(oh, sorry Way.)
Fitzwilliam sighed. He knew this was hard, and he wasn't about to force it out of her. He shook his head-
Miss Haruba, I am sorry. It was not my place to ask such a personal question. I shall withdraw from the current subject. I thank you very much for your hospitality.
Fitzwilliam bowed to the mare and watched the other filly prance around proudly. He was like that once. Long ago...

San took some comfort in his words, for they seemed to come from the heart. A rare thing for a brute, most just manipulated the hell out of you. A heavy sigh came out of San's maw as the stag spoke, then moved away from her. Her chassis missed the heat the other had given off. Orbs flickered over to the filly, glad to see atleast someone was enjoying themselves. Boa curved and dial followed so they faced the brute. San spoke, tone still soft,
'Tis not your fault. And you're very welcome. Yes, let's change the subject.
Boa turned skyward as the cloud begun to become darker, then suddenly the temperature dropped a few more degrees. Within moments, small white flakes danced in the air and fell towards the group of equines below them. A rare smile turned up on San's kissers as orbs studied the sky. Finally dial returned to the earth, a happier mask portrayed on it this time.

Flicka pranced up to the older and wiser fae, and gazed upon her face. Her orbs and auds flicked around.
"Hey, miss, are you sad?"
She genuinely meant this, for she wanted to make the fae who took her in to feel better, no matter how she felt. Flicka continued to prance around San to make her happy again.

Orbs laughed merrily as the tiny filly pranced up to her and inquired as to her status. A small sigh managed to escape San's maw before she replied to her,
I'll be fine Flicka. Thanks.
San was truly touched by this tiny filly's small actions, for rarely did others show compassion for her. Or rarely perhaps, did she notice it, or care. But this time she did. Orbs glanced up, noticing that the darkened clouds were becoming even more heavy. Suddenly, the snow stopped. For a few moments, San's breath stopped coming through her nares. Then the snow started back again, leaving San still in her state of shock. Boa came back down, face now filled with worry. Quickly she hid it from the filly, but her orbs were filled with dread and worry.
He was here.

Fitzwilliam looked at the filly with unmoved eyes. He wasn't much for equines he didn't know, but he was trying to work on it. He sighed and sat down. He rolled over on his back and twirled his flints around before straining to get back on his feet. He managed to regain his former stance and began to nibble on the grass...

Though San had tried to hide it from her, Flicka could see the worry in the femme's eyes. She continued to prance, but stopped as the snow started to fall again. As most young ones do, she stuck her tongue out to catch one of the falling flakes. As one fell on her tongue, Flicka shivered and turned back to San Haruba.
"Hey, what's wrong, miss? You seem worried..."
Flicka expected an answer, because she had been taught to ask questions and to get answers. She wanted one, especially now, semming as San was worried.

San sighed. Fitzwilliam seemed alright, for a brute. But he had yet to prove any help at all to her. Orbs turned sky wards to watch as the frozen crystalline droplets came to wash away the sin form the earth. Or that's what some thought they did. No, sin was here, and ever present, San knew it. Tassel swished in annoyance, femmora knew of what was to come and was not enamored of the possibilities of the outcome. Nares sniffed and beneath the scent of the snow they caught what they feared and desired all at once him. This scent was so small in the air that none but the ones who knew it could find it. And how the flame bruja wished she did not know it, that would be best. Unfortunately though, she did. Boa turned dial to the filly and spoke simply,
"Someone has come here I do not wish to be here."
The temperature was with every falling flake, or so it seemed. The thought of commanding the filly to return to warmth and shelter crossed her mind, but San decided that she would have to learn and fend for herself, San was only here for help when asked, and if even then. A chill went through her body, from both the cold, and his presence. She would have to leave soon....

Flicka flicked her auds nervously as the fae before her looked around. Trying to figure out what she was looking at, Flicka looked around too. The only thing that Flicka recognized out of place were the dark clouds, but even they were common in winter. All of a sudden, Flicka felt very cold, and went up next to San Haruba for warmth. She looked up at her worriedly and asked,
"Ma'am, does this chill in my body have anything to do with this person? If you're leaving, can I come with you? I don't like this cold..."
Flicka shivered and huddled against her herd leader. The chill was growing stronger and it, personally, was driving Flicka nuts. Flicka looked back up at San Haruba once more, and added,
"Is this what it feels like to feel that somebody is there, but you're not sure who? It scares me..."

Fitzwilliam looked up at the faes that were on their way away. He called out to them:
"Have I done something to cause you two to act as such?"
Fitzwilliam trotted to their level and looked at them, expecting them to answer his question... OCC: Okay, I'm very sorry guys. I haven't replied in forever, and now I give you this crap post. I'm not doing too well over here, I have so much work to do. Forgive me?

{of course lexie! all is well}
San shook her head to Lex and spoke to them both,
Fitzwilliam, this is not your fault, but mine. And no, Flicka. You may not come with me. I must leave, but I shall return, though it may take time. Fitzwilliam, you bear the weight of this heard for the moment, take care of it for now. And make sure this young one stays safe and warm.
San turned on her haunches to leave, but a moment before the fire femme departs, she tells Fitzwilliam quietly,
And let those who beg for safety in, but fight for your life if a dark black stag shows up, one with a heart to match his pelt. Run if he does.
San gave a slight shiver at the thought of him. The vix shook her dial to rid herself of the thoughts. With no avail, she dug her talons into the soil and roared off, pistons surging and pushing her on, never wanting to stop. Wanting to just run from this. Once she had run from him, and now she was running to him. Life has its ironies, no? The sun was absent now, letting her know fully that he was here. This pushed her on harder and further, letting herself be carried across the lands, orbs always forward, never looking back. For is she did, she might never leave.

Flicka watched worriedly as her herd leader turned to leave. she began to shiver and sniff. She liked San Haruba, she almost seemed like a replacement mother. But this black dark stag... just the mention of him frightened her. She looked from side to side wildly, seeing if she could locate him. Frightened, Flicka fled from Fitzwilliam, unknowing if San was still there. She had to find a place to hide- she didn't feel comfortable around here. She hid behind a bush and began to shiver as the cold settled into her pelt. Sincerely scared, she began to cry, wishing that her mother were alive and there to comfort her.
"I hope this black and dark guy doesn't show up!"
She muttered to herself in a high voice. Suddenly she heard a chuckle, and looked up to see who it was... OOC :: Oh, poor Flicka! -sniffs in sorrow-
