Meadow woke herself into reality again as she gazed at the sky longingly. Slowly but securely she stepped towards the river, but in doing so having to force herself because she was afraid she was disliked, or maybe just misunderstood already. She had once been with a herd.....Meadow neighed in pain and reared shaking as she thought about how her mother and father had been attacked by wolves, and how she became an orphan growing up with only the vast lands and nature. She dreaded the thought of wolves and how her parents were killed when she was only a filly. She was lucky enough to have narrowly escaped by slipping into a small tunnel, but sometimes she wondered if it would have been best if she hadn't escaped. She wanted to be in a herd more than anything, she longed to have a foal of her own, and most of all she wanted a stallion to love her and never let her go. She had strong emotional feelings about this sort of thing because she didn't have any family to love her when she grew up. She was filled with a burst of excitement when she saw the herd but she was highly dissapointed when no one in the herd came and greeted her. Did she ezpect too much out of them? She really didn't even know. Suddenly Meadow snapped back into reality and stepped into the water headed towards the herd but shyly sideways stepping once in a while but always moving on with a powerful stride, a longing twinkle in the eye, and a sad heart that needed to be filled. Hoping the herd would recognize her she stood in the river and let out a greeting neigh full of anxioty and hope that maybe they could help when no one else could.

Raises head hopefully but gently and nickers at Snickers friendly. She sniffs back and whinnies giving a small rear, her mane flowing in the wind.
